Our approach

This statement applies to the NurturEd website operated by NURTURED C.I.C. We aim to improve the website towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is an improvement goal, not a claim that every requirement has been met.

We use clear headings, readable layouts, descriptive links and expandable sections to make longer information easier to explore. We aim to keep essential routes available without relying on hover alone.

Using this website

• Use your browser controls to enlarge text or zoom the page.
• Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links and controls, and Enter to activate a selected link or disclosure.
• Use the main menu, audience routes and footer links to move between sections of the site.
• Contact us by email or telephone if the online enquiry form is difficult to use.

Current limitations

Our review has included desktop layouts and sample narrow-screen and keyboard checks. A comprehensive independent accessibility audit, including screen-reader and high-zoom testing across every page, has not yet been completed.

We are continuing to check colour contrast, alternative text, focus behaviour and long-page navigation. External websites, including LinkedIn, are outside our control.

We do not currently claim full WCAG conformance. If a page or document creates a barrier, please tell us so we can provide another way to access the information and investigate the issue.

Report an accessibility problem

If possible, tell us what you were trying to do, which page you were using and the device, browser or assistive technology involved. We will review the issue and respond through your preferred contact route where practicable.

If you are unhappy with our response, ask for the matter to be reviewed by a director. You can also seek independent advice about equality and accessibility rights from the Equality Advisory and Support Service.

We will review this statement as testing progresses and when significant website changes are made. The date above identifies the current version.
