WHAT WE DO

Commitment
in Action

We help organisations decide what matters, plan what needs to happen and demonstrate what their work delivers. Alongside strategy, measurement and independent assurance, we develop the capability people need to put commitments into practice.

Discuss your priorities

01 OUR WORK

ESG Strategy and Social Value Outcomes

THE PRACTICAL VALUE

A clear basis for deciding what to do, who needs to act and how progress will be assessed.

Know what to prioritise and how to deliver it.

For organisations developing their approach, strengthening existing commitments or preparing for a tender or funding opportunity.

What we work through

We review your current position, stakeholder needs and organisational priorities. Together, we identify the outcomes you want to achieve and translate them into commitments that are relevant, achievable and clear enough to assess.

Where bids or contracts are involved, we connect proposed commitments with delivery responsibilities, practical measures and evidence requirements.

What you can receive

Depending on the agreed scope:

  • An ESG or social value gap analysis.
  • A review of priorities and stakeholders.
  • A strategy or action plan with responsibilities and timescales.
  • Defined outcomes, measures and evidence requirements.
  • Social value commitments and supporting content for bids or tenders.

02 OUR WORK

Measurement and Reporting

THE PRACTICAL VALUE

A clearer account of delivery, its limitations and the decisions it informs.

Turn delivery information into something useful.

For organisations seeking a clearer understanding of progress, a stronger evidence base or reporting that meets the needs of clients, funders and leadership teams.

What we work through

We establish what needs to be measured, what information is available and how it can be collected consistently. We distinguish activity from outcomes and help you understand what the evidence can reasonably demonstrate.

Reporting is shaped around the people who need to use it, whether they are reviewing performance, assessing a tender or deciding what should happen next.

What you can receive

Depending on the agreed scope:

  • A measurement framework with relevant outcome indicators.
  • Practical data collection tools and templates.
  • Analysis using appropriate recognised frameworks.
  • Social value calculations where suitable.
  • ESG or social value reports.
  • Tender-ready evidence packs and leadership summaries.

03 OUR WORK

Independent Assurance

THE PRACTICAL VALUE

A documented assessment that helps organisations demonstrate delivery and helps those overseeing it make informed decisions.

Demonstrate delivery. Gain confidence in the evidence.

For businesses seeking to substantiate what they have delivered, and government or council teams seeking an independent assessment of outcomes promised by others.

What we work through

We agree which commitments are being reviewed, the evidence required and the questions the assessment needs to answer. We then examine the available evidence against those commitments, identifying supported findings, gaps and areas needing attention.

The scope and responsibilities for independent review are defined from the outset. Preparing a report and independently assuring its contents are different activities.

What you can receive

Depending on the agreed scope:

  • An agreed assurance scope and evidence requirements.
  • A review of evidence against delivery commitments.
  • Findings that distinguish supported claims from gaps or uncertainties.
  • A structured assurance report.
  • Practical recommendations for improvement.

04 OUR WORK

Training and Capability

THE PRACTICAL VALUE

People better equipped to fulfil their responsibilities and apply their learning in relevant situations.

Develop people. Strengthen practice.

For organisations that want their people to have the understanding and confidence to fulfil their responsibilities, whether delivering ESG commitments or working directly with colleagues, customers and communities.

ESG and social value capability

We support teams responsible for planning commitments, collecting evidence, understanding outcomes and preparing credible reporting.

This work is shaped around their roles and responsibilities, helping ESG and social value become part of everyday practice rather than knowledge held by one individual.

Depending on the engagement, support can include workshops, practical tools, coaching and guidance alongside an agreed piece of work.

Specialist training

Our provision includes Mental Health First Aid through the MHFA England scheme, Suicide First Aid, and our own conflict resolution and safeguarding training.

Different programmes support different roles and settings, including business and education. Our technical staff safeguarding programme focuses on people working in the field and interacting with the public, particularly in social housing.

The appropriate programme depends on the participants, their responsibilities and the situations they encounter.

Finding the right provision

We start with the capability your organisation needs to develop. We then identify appropriate provision and clarify the intended learning outcomes, scope and delivery arrangements.

Where training forms part of a social value commitment, we distinguish the training delivered from the wider benefit it is intended to support. That helps establish what should be recorded and what further evidence may be needed.

SHAPING THE ENGAGEMENT

The right scope,
not a standard package.

You may need one defined piece of work or support across several connected areas. We agree the priorities, responsibilities and intended outputs before the engagement begins.

A defined project

A specific output, such as a strategy, evidence review, report or tender response, with an agreed scope and timeline.

Ongoing support

Continuity across several priorities or reporting periods, with work planned around your organisation’s needs.

Support alongside your team

Practical input during delivery, helping your people develop understanding while completing the work.

Advice at a decision point

Focused expertise when you need to assess an approach, review evidence or decide what to do next.

Training arrangements are agreed separately around the selected programme and participants.
